Certificate of Occupancy Information
Step 1: Review the Certificate of Occupancy Checklist

Zoning Use Determination Questionnaire: If you are continuing the same operations but with a new owner or business name, you do not need to complete this form.

Step 2: Use MyGovernmentOnline.org (MGO) to apply for a Certificate of Occupancy.

Permit Information

Remodels and new construction require a Building Permit. Please refer to the Building Permits & Inspections page.
Temporary "opening soon" or "now open" signs require a Temporary Sign Permit. Please refer to the Application Center for more information and visit MyGovernmentOnline.org to apply for a permit.
The City does not issue business licenses.
